Clinical Lab Technologist
Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Contingent Labor
Contract Length: Approximately 52 weeks (364 days)
Job Summary
- Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to assist healthcare providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot assays, and evaluate test accuracy.
- Assist with interpreting test results and support operational activities to optimize testing capabilities.
- Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
- May work with minimal supervision and assist with specimen collection.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards is required.
Work Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Day shift with start times varying between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling adjustments, off-shifts, holidays, on-call, and weekend assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience.
- Medical Technologist experience within the last year.
