Registered Nurse – Med/Surg/Telemetry

Location: Norwich, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit and Patient Population

• Cardiology, Medical-Surgical, and Neurology unit
• Dedicated floor for cardiac and neuro/stroke patients

Work Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 consecutive 12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Additional Information

• Must make up any time absent prior to contract end date
• May cancel up to 3 times per contract
