Job Opportunity: Home Health Nurse
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Employment Type: Long Term Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Home Health (RN experience with OASIS required)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift (8 AM - 4 PM)
- On-Call Requirements:
- On call 2 times per month (maximum 3 times per month)
- On-call hours: 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM (some shifts 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM or 8:30 PM – 8:00 AM)
- On-call duties primarily phone triage; no patient home visits between 8:30 PM – 8:00 AM
- Typically 1-2 phone calls during evening hours, rarely overnight calls
- Weekend Rotation:
- 1 weekend every 4 weeks (usually Saturday/Sunday or 2 Saturdays every 4 weeks)
- Alternate day off during the week to avoid working 6-7 days straight
Requirements
- Home Health nursing experience required
- Experience with OASIS documentation required for RNs
- Must plan for 5 weeks credentialing if non-resident of Delaware (in-person fingerprints required)
- Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius for local rate eligibility

- Credentialing process requires in-person fingerprinting in Delaware after acceptance
- Cancellation policy: 14 days’ notice required
