Schedule

Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend/holiday rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Unit Details

Intermediate care unit with 36 beds
Heavy telemetry
Typical patient mix includes stable weaning vents/trachs, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
Patient ratio: 4:1

Float Expectations

Float to all inpatient units as needed
Typically floats to higher-acuity units

Required Qualifications

Wisconsin RN license
BLS
ACLS
2+ years of experience in stepdown, intermediate, or PCU
Ventilator/trach experience
At least 1 prior travel experience

Preferred Qualifications

ICU experience
Trauma Level II experience
EPIC familiarity

Additional Notes

Contract end date falls on Sunday, not Saturday
Low-census adjustments may occur in 4-hour increments, including shortened shifts
Scrub color: any color
Flu/COVID vaccine declination requires masking at all times during flu season
