Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin
13 weeks
Start ASAP
36 guaranteed hours per week
12-hour nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Float to all inpatient units as needed
Every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Wisconsin RN license
BLS (AHA or ARC)
2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

Trauma level II experience

Unit Details

MAP Unit – Medical and Pediatrics
Travelers do not take pediatric patients
Typical ratios:
- Days: 1:4-5
- Nights: 1:6-7
Common patient population includes adults with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal

EPIC required
Scrub color: any color
During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
