Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Location: Inglewood, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (Per Diem)
Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Start Date: January 17
Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work weekends. Preference for candidates available through end of January and first week of February.

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Must meet minimum compliance requirements prior to starting.
• Full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after start date.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with MEDITECH electronic health record system.

Additional Notes

• Driver’s license, state ID, or passport required.
• Some optional items include a badge photo and notarized name affidavit if name discrepancies exist.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room RNs who can commit to night shifts and weekend work, meet comprehensive compliance and certification requirements, and are available for a 6-month per diem assignment.
