Job Description

• Work in Interventional Radiology department with multiple procedure rooms including body IR, neuro IR, CT, and ultrasound.
• 12-bed Pre/Post procedure area.
• Float among procedure areas and Pre/Post area during a 40-hour work week.
• On-call requirement: 2 weekends (Saturday-Sunday) and one weeknight per month.

Required Qualifications

Licensure

• Valid permanent RN license for Ohio.
• Primary source verification required within 30 days of start.
• Temporary licenses are NOT accepted.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)

Experience

• Specialty: Interventional Radiology RN
• Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum standard for specialty RN roles (recommend verifying with recruiter).

Prior Travel Experience

Health and Immunization Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine preferred but not required (medical/religious exemptions accepted).

• Hepatitis B: Proof of full series, partial series with declination, or positive titer within 15 years.
• Tdap: Vaccination within last 10 years (no declinations accepted).
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (October-March) or must complete masking and declination forms.
• 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within last 6 months; if positive, clear chest X-ray and current TB questionnaire required.
• Fit test for N95 respirators completed within 1 year prior to start.
• Physical exam within 1 year prior to start confirming ability to work without restrictions.

Background and Compliance

• Criminal background check within 6 months including social security trace and county searches.
• Ohio fingerprinting and FBI background checks as applicable.
• Employment and education verification required.
• Drug screen within 60 days prior to start (10-panel, lab report required).
• Completion of safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance.
• Competency exams and skills checklist specific to department required (passing score 80%).

Work Schedule
