RN CVOR

Overview

• CVOR service line for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Assignment is based in a CVOR service line with 4-6 ORs, including an endovascular suite.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Shift: 06:45 - 17:15.
• Schedule includes 3 shifts of 11a-11:30pm on weekdays based on department need at interview.
• Call coverage is required after normal business hours and on weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas.
• CVOR experience within the last year.
• Minimum 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR circulator in a high-volume hospital setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Must be able to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Two or more completed travel assignments.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Must provide verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed.
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually.
• Ascension Specialty Exam completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Color Vision completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
• Ascension 11 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Driver's License/State ID must be current and not expired.
• Health Statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• MMR documentation.
• Hepatitis B documentation.
• Varicella documentation.
• Tdap documentation.
• Fit Test required for all travelers.
• License/Certificate Verification.
