Job Description
- Provide advanced clinical quality patient care while producing radiologic images for diagnosis and treatment.
- Complete x-rays efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care and patient experience.
- Determine appropriate radiographic techniques based on anatomy and patient condition to obtain quality images.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning.
- Explain procedures to patients considering their physical and emotional needs.
- Record digital images for radiologist interpretation and maintain pertinent records.
- Provide radiation protection according to safety standards.
- May assist Radiology Technologist Students and new staff with radiologic exams, sterile technique, and supply stocking.
- Must have fluoroscopy imaging experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician.
- Radiology Technician experience within the last year.
- Fluoroscopy imaging experience.
