Overview

Home Health Occupational Therapist role providing in-home occupational therapy services to patients.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Iowa.
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year.
• One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Eligible to take, or has successfully completed, the entry-level certification examination for Occupational Therapists developed and administered by NBCOT.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits for occupational therapy services and ongoing interdisciplinary assessment.
• Evaluate and assess patient functioning using appropriate tests.
• Develop occupational therapy procedures and functional activities based on the physician plan of treatment and patient evaluation.
• Develop and administer the plan of treatment, including environmental modifications.
• Oversee use of treatment modalities, prosthetic devices, and therapeutic appliances.
