Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a complete Cath Lab providing cardiac and peripheral services including:

  • Left and Right Heart Catheterization
  • PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy
  • Carotid diagnostic and stenting
  • Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Pacemaker insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty
  • AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy
• Day shift: 8-hour shifts with rotation on call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficient monitoring of patients using:

  • Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT
  • Coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices
  • LEXISCAN Stress Test
• Use of Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic Systems
• Rotate between Cath Lab and pre/post procedure areas, assist with patient transport and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred but not required
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA) preferred
  • BLS (AHA) required
  • NIH certification required
• Licensure:

  • Oklahoma State RN License or compact license required
• Must be able to work some holidays during assignment

Additional Information

• Skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to specialty required
• Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years required
• Facility may consider local candidates (within 50 miles) at a reduced rate
• On-call rotation paid separately (not included in base pay)
• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays

This position is ideal for RNs with Cath Lab experience looking for a temporary assignment in Southwest Oklahoma with exposure to a wide range of cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures.
