Job Description
Seeking a Radiation Therapist specializing in Radiology/Cardiology with experience in Rad Onc-Brachytherapy. This is a travel contract position with a proposed extension from early March to mid-June (14 weeks total if extended).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
Compliance and Background Requirements
- Government-issued ID required.
- Criminal background check within 6 months, including statewide and nationwide searches.
- Quarterly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks.
- Education verification of highest related degree required.
- Drug testing within 1 year of start, including a comprehensive panel.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Fit mask testing annually (N95 respirators).
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- Tdap vaccine or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination/declination
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Fingerprinting required for assignments in Illinois long-term care or rehab units.
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific orientation modules (approx. 16 hours) through online training platform.
- Various facility policies must be reviewed and signed prior to start, including:

- Latex Allergy Questionnaire
- Confidentiality Form
- Hand Hygiene Policy
- Fingernail Policy
- Dress Code Policy
- Badge photo required (head and shoulders, white background, no obstructions, taken within 6 months).
