Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 days each, 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM
  • Call shifts required; participation in call rotation with the team is mandatory
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
  • Scrubs provided

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Utah
  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) equipment required

Required Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid state license as applicable for Interventional Radiology Tech
  • BLS certification (AHA only)
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required depending on unit specifics (refer to employer for details)

Prior Travel Experience

  • Prior travel experience is not required

Additional Requirements

  • Participation in background checks including criminal, sex offender, and employment verifications
  • Drug screening (11-panel) within 30 days of start date
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start date
  • Immunizations and health documentation including:
    • Flu vaccine (seasonal, with exemptions considered case-by-case)
    • Tdap vaccine within 10 years
    • TB testing or chest X-ray as applicable
    • MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B immunity verification or vaccination
  • Respirator fit testing and medical clearance if respirator use is required
  • Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
  • References: Minimum 3 professional references, including at least one supervisor or manager

Notes

  • Non-latex gloves are available for candidates with latex allergies
  • Facility provides an exemption process for certain vaccinations based on medical or religious grounds
  • Candidates must comply with all health and safety documentation and credential verification prior to start
