Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Schedule:
- Workdays: Friday through Monday
- Monday Shift: 7:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Other Days: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM (4x10 hour shifts)
- Every other weekend off (unless otherwise specified)
- Call Requirement: 8 days total during assignment with at least 2 weeks’ notice
- Holidays: Expected to work major holidays if they fall within assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
Contract Length: Approximately 14 weeks
Patient Population & Work Environment
- Patient Age Range: Neonates to Geriatrics
- Work Settings: Inpatient, Emergency Room, and Outpatient
- Trauma Level: Level 3 Trauma Center
- Average Caseload: 12-24 patients per day across 4 CT rooms
- Equipment: Siemens and Philips CT Scanners, Epic EMR, Fuji PACS
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with technologists, nurses, doctors, and transporters
- Floating: May float within facility/scope of practice as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- ARRT (R)(CT) – CT certification required
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to perform CT scans on inpatient, ER, and outpatient patients following facility protocols
- Start IVs and obtain patient consent
- Maintain excellent patient care and a positive work environment
- Must pass color blindness testing (alternative assessment available if needed)
- Competency exams required by agency (not by client) including medication/pharmacology and dysrhythmia/EKG exams for applicable specialties
Orientation & Compliance
- Orientation hours vary based on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
- Must be fully compliant with all requirements to start on time; delays in compliance may result in assignment start being pushed back by 2 weeks
- Clinical screening will be conducted to determine fit before final approval
Additional Notes
- Dress Code: Gray scrub color required
- References: Two clinical references required by agency
- Work History Verification: Verification of most recent employer required; can be pending at start with proof of processing
- Locals accepted at same rate
- Maximum Return to Office (RTO) time: 7 days
