Medical Lab Technician - Travel/Contract

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Specialty: Laboratory
Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM), 3 or 4 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), Wednesday through Tuesday
Support Blood Bank operations including irradiation, splitting blood products, plasma reduction on plateletpheresis
Occasional basic Microbiology support required
Float within the department required
Weekend work required
No on-call requirement

Required Qualifications

Valid Medical Lab Technician license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of Medical Lab Technician experience
Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
