Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant)

Location

  • Sacramento, California

Employment Type

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Day shift, Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
  • 40 hours per week

Job Description

  • Case Manager role in an outpatient clinic setting within an Adult Stem Cell Transplant Program
  • Responsibilities include working with authorization department, managing new patient referrals, coordinating appointments across multiple departments, and responding to patient messages via electronic health record system
  • Patient population includes diagnoses such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and stem cell transplant recipients

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
  • Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience preferred
