Stepdown Cardiac RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Schedule includes 3 nights per week and every 3rd weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience)
• Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• 2 supervisory references from the specialty, with at least one within the last year
• 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
• Annual physical or statement of health within 1 year of assignment start
• Fit test within 12 months
• Tdap within 10 years or declination
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
• Mandatory reporter training for child abuse and dependent adult abuse
• Background check and state/federal screening requirements within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption status during flu season
• COVID-19 vaccination is preferred only
