Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Loveland, Colorado
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• On-call required: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month
• Weekend call is Friday PM to Monday AM
• First-timers accepted if experience requirements are met
• May be required to float to sister facilities within the North Region
• Unit has 12 OR rooms
• Charting system: Epic
• Staffing ratio: 1–2 RNs and 1 ST per room
• Scrub color: Navy

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• CVOR (2 years of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

• Weekend call required per unit needs
• On-call required per unit needs
• 2 references from the last two years
• One reference must be from employment within the last year
• Both references must be from Charge RN, Manager, Supervisor, or above
• Employment application with 3 years of employment history
• Work history verification for the last 3 years of employment

• Fit test within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Tdap within 10 years of start or signed declination within 1 year of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Drug testing within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption for the 2026–27 season
• COVID vaccination documentation or signed declination
• Color blind exam before start date
• Colorado CAPS check results within 60 days of start
• Colorado CBI/FBI fingerprint results for behavioral candidates
• Core Part I, Core Part II, Core Part III, OSHA Mandatory, Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, and Competency Exam within 1 year of start and updated annually
• UCHealth - Employee Data Sheet
• UCHealth - CO CAPS Release Authorization
• NURSYS verification within 60 days of start
• Education verification within 60 days of start
• Background check within 60 days of start
