Labor and Delivery Nurse
Location
- Nashville, Tennessee
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Travel/contract position
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- Start date: 10/19
Role Overview
- LDRP nurse working between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby
- Float required
- Must be comfortable working with the prison population
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- STABLE
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute or MAB - Management of Assaultive Behavior
- AWHONN
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Maternal - Newborn experience
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- CPI or MAB in lieu of CPI
- NIH Stroke Certification
- AWHONN
- NRP
- STABLE
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers and locals are accepted at the same rate
- Orientation includes split 8-hour shifts followed by two 12-hour department shifts
