Work Setting

• Home scan site is the main location, with remote scanning support for smaller campuses as needed.
• No floating.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist (1 year of experience)
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
• Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
• Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment at 1.5T and 3T field strengths
• Must be trained to use the steering client for the Siemens virtual cockpit.
• Must be certified as a radiologic technologist through ARRT; ARMRIT is not accepted.
• Must be strong in pediatrics, as the role is almost exclusively pediatric scanning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous children’s hospital experience is preferred.

Patient Population

• Inpatient and outpatient MRI for adults and pediatrics
• Neonates
• Stroke patients
• Trauma patients

Schedule Notes

• Monday through Thursday
• Overnight coverage
• No call

Additional Notes

• The virtual cockpit equipment is physically located at the home scan site.
• Overnight scans at remote campuses are the top priority when present.
