Job Overview

Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Weekly hours: 40
Contract length: 13 weeks
On-call: Required
Weekend coverage: Call only
Caseload: 8–10 cases per tech
Floating: May float within scope if needed, but will more than likely stay in Cath Lab
First-time travelers: Not accepted

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of RN experience
Valid RN license in West Virginia
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
One completed travel assignment
ARRT registration
ACLS certification
BLS certification
ACT
AVOX
Valid driver’s license or state ID
Social Security card
1 reference from a manager, supervisor, or charge nurse from a facility worked within 1 year of start

7-year criminal background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Sex offender search
State license primary source verification
Nursys verification
Color blind testing
Medication/pharmacology competency exam
Competency exam
Pass/fail testing for nursing
Annual skills checklist for the specialty
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask testing
Tdap vaccination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B documentation
