Overview

Location: Durham, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours (9:00 AM–9:30 PM)
Hours per week: 36
Start date: 9/8 only

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Work Expectations

Weekend requirement: every other weekend
On-call: not required
Block scheduling: not accepted
First-time travelers: not accepted
Local candidates: accepted within 75 miles

Clinical Details

Patient ratio: 1:4
Charting system experience required: EPIC
Unit-specific competency exam required

Additional Notes

Orientation is bi-weekly
