Required Qualifications

  • License: Valid RN license in California
  • Experience: Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
  • Recent experience: Behavioral Health experience within the last year
  • Certifications: BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule & Work Expectations

  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
  • Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
  • On-call: Not required
  • Floating: May float within scope to inpatient psych if needed
  • First-time travelers: Accepted
  • Local candidates: Accepted
  • Pending license: Not accepted

Unit / Work Environment

  • Fast-paced psychiatric acute care setting
  • Support staff includes social worker, occupational therapist, psychiatrist, security, unit clerks, and mental health specialists
  • Business casual scrubs

Additional Notes

  • CPI is preferred; if not already held, it can be completed onsite during orientation
  • Guaranteed hours: 40
  • Parking is available with multiple options
