Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in West Virginia
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Additional Requirements

• Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of offer
• Start date is the required start date
• Orientation is bi-weekly

Compliance / Pre-Start Items

• References: 2 supervisor-level references within the past year
• Work history verification for the past 7 years
• Background check and education verification required
• Drug screening required within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray documentation required within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Fit mask completed onsite
• Tdap, MMR, hepatitis B, varicella, and tetanus documentation required
• West Virginia APS/CPS search results required
• State license verification required prior to start
• National certification verification required prior to start
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
• Competency exam required
• Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III required
