Medical Surgical RN Travel/Contract Job

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Phlebotomy
• EKG performance and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call
• No block schedule accommodation
• May float within the service line
• Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius
• No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Clinical Focus

• Post-op medical-surgical patients
• Common care needs include phlebotomy, CHG baths, mobility assistance, and EKGs when needed
• Experience with bariatrics, trachs, endo oncology, MIS, plastics, ortho, and ophthalmology is noted in the job description
