Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Columbia, Missouri
• 42-bed unit
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• 50% of holidays required
• Post-operative orthopaedic cases, trauma, ortho spine, medicine, and plastics
• Ratios: days 1:5–6; nights 1:6

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS preferred

Additional Notes

• Rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather are required
• Must be able to take call and work assigned weekends
• Physical demands include ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• This role routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
