Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
36 guaranteed hours per week.
Ratios: 1:4–6.
First-timers accepted: No.
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
On-call: No.
Block scheduling: Not accommodated.
Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
RTO limit: no more than 7 days.
Pending license accepted: Yes.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
One completed travel assignment.
ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
IV insertion skills.
Must be able to work independently and have strong nursing skills.
Telemetry required.
Must pass Relias EKG exam.
Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required.

Preferred Qualifications

Chemo.
CCRN.
NIH.
ONS.
TNCC.
CPI.

Float Scope

Floats within Barnes Jewish Hospital.
Floats to Med Surg, Trauma, Oncology, Heart and Vascular, Neuro, Medicine, COVID, and ED Holding/Boarding.
Floats to all inpatient areas except W/I and L&D.

Facility Notes

Short Term Acute Care facility.
Teaching / Level Trauma.
Total staffed beds: 1259.
Charting system: EPIC.
