Overview

  • Travel/Contract assignment in Tucson, Arizona
  • 13 weeks
  • Day shift: 4x12 hours, 11:00–23:30
  • 48 hours per week
  • Emergency Department volume: about 210 visits/day
  • Ratio: 1:5
  • Supports PCT and Medic
  • Every other weekend coverage, with 4 weekend shifts per contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NIHSS
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with ventilator management
  • Experience caring for large, urban, fast-paced ED with significant volume
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 1 trauma experience
