Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio.
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
- 36 hours per week.
- May float to a unit with similar acuity.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- Post Partum experience with 2 years of experience.
- Post Partum experience within the last year.
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- IV start skills.
- Labor & delivery (L&D) experience.
- Experience with Epic.
- 2 professional references.
- Employment application.
- Skills checklist.
- Emergency contact form.
- Background check, including 7-year criminal background check and Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting.
- Education accreditation confirmation for nursing program.
- Transcript or diploma verification for nursing education.
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement.
- Variable schedule attestation for OR employees is required only if applicable to the assigned unit or schedule.
- Physical exam.
- Tdap.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
- TB questionnaire.
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen.
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season.
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate.
- Confidential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance reporting mechanism form.
- Ethics and compliance policies acknowledgement.
- State license verification within 30 days of start.
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam.
- Unit-specific competency exam.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 1 year of start and annually.

- Previous travel nursing experience.
