Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Antioch, California
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in California
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• TNCC
• NIHSS

Additional Requirements

• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Full 7 years of work history must be included in the application, with city and state for each location and no gaps
• Employment gaps over 30 days must be explained
• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
• FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start
• California Medi-Cal search required if FACIS III cannot be run monthly
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required
• HHS/OIG required
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start
• TB screening documentation required within 90 days of start and renewed annually
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 1 year of start and renewed annually
• Tdap required within 10 years of start
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season
• Color vision deficiency must be assessed by an in-person exam before start
• Candidate must review and sign required onboarding documents before start

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred for RN positions
