Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Hospice Case Manager)

Location: Marlton, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Role: Hospice Case Manager
• Travel required to Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospice experience
• Must have experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Open to first-time travel nurses (no prior travel experience required)

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC only
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – as applicable
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification)
• State Nursing License (RN) with primary source verification
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs
• Pass/Fail testing (e.g., Dysrhythmia Challenge) may be required depending on assignment
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement

Required Documents & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• E-Verify documentation
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with specific protocols for positive responders)
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Immunization or positive titer documentation for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Drug testing: 10-panel drug screen without THC within 6 months of start, updated annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required by October 31
• Eye exam with visual acuity of 20/40 or better
• Latex questionnaire

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references within the last 2 years
• Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually)
• Work history verification for New Jersey candidates (minimum 1 year prior to start date, allowing 30-day gaps or less)
• Facility-specific documents including personal/auto insurance and badge photo for home health assignments

Notes

• Prior travel experience not required; first-time travelers are accepted
• Travel required within multiple counties in New Jersey
• Compliance with all certifications, background checks, and health documentation is mandatory before start date
• Candidates must be able to complete required pass/fail competency testing within specified timeframes to avoid contract cancellation
