Job Description
- Work at a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center
- Perform outpatient and inpatient procedures on adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics of all patient acuities
- Support Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures using single and biplane radiography units
- Procedures include: Y90, TIPs, chemoembolization, UFE, PAE, trauma, stroke, carotid stent, drains, biopsies, lumbar punctures, kyphoplasty, lines, ports, filters, peripheral stents, AV fistula declot/stenting, PE/DVTs
- Utilize fluoroscopy (Siemens) and ultrasound (Phillips) equipment
- Use McKesson PACS and Cerner Powerchart systems
- Department includes 2 biplane rooms, 2 single plane rooms, and a dedicated ultrasound room
- Call requirements: 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days of call per week (2 techs on call per shift: primary and secondary)
- Ability to work assigned weekends, take call, and work at least 50% of holidays during the contract
Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT certification required for Interventional Radiology Technologist
- State license as required (Missouri)
- ACLS and BLS certifications may be required depending on patient population (check with employer)
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Background check (7 years) within 60 days of start, including alias search, criminal, sex offender, social security trace, and international checks if applicable
- Drug screening (7 panel) within 60 days of start
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
- Hepatitis B vaccination or titer
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity or vaccination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start (3M masks accepted)
- Professional references (2 within last 2 years)
- Resume with at least 7 years of employment history or from completion of education with no gaps over 30 days
- Photo for badge (new candidates only)
- Completion of facility-specific forms and agreements within 60 days of start
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work full shifts and at assigned location for the entire contract duration
- Ability to take call and work weekends and holidays as scheduled
