Position Details

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic and fun team on the night shift. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Montana and the Big Sky/Yellowstone area on your days off.
Required Credentials & Certifications
- Licenses/IDs:
- Current and valid Driver’s License, government photo ID, or passport.
- State License verification required within 30 days of start (temp licenses not accepted).
- Certifications:
- ACLS (AHA only; certificates of completion NOT accepted)
- BLS (AHA only; certificates of completion NOT accepted)
- PALS (AHA only; required for certain units; certificates of completion NOT accepted)
- NRP (required for Nursery, NICU, L&D, Mother/Baby; certificates of completion NOT accepted)
- TNCC (required for ER; certificates of completion NOT accepted)
- EFM (AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced for L&D)
- Background Checks:
- 7-year background check required within 30 days of start; must be renewed annually.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start.
- Education verification through a 3rd party.
- Health & Safety:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start stating good health and ability to perform job duties.
- Quantitative fit test with 3M mask within 90 days prior to start (qualitative tests not accepted; must be renewed annually).
- Negative drug screen within 30 days of start; must be renewed annually.
- Immunizations/vaccinations required or proof of immunity for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (TDAP within 10 years or signed declination)
- TB testing (negative test required, renewed annually)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (positive IGG titer or 2 vaccines)
- Hepatitis B (positive IGG titer, 3-dose vaccine series, or declination)
- Varicella (positive IGG titer or 2 vaccines)
- Seasonal Flu vaccination (required Oct 31 - Mar 31; declinations accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
Documentation & Compliance
- References: Two references required, including a direct supervisor reference within the last year.
- Employment Application: Must be current and include 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
- Work History Verification: Preferred for the last 5 years; must disclose if previously worked at the facility.
- Skills Checklist: Required as applicable.
