Job Opportunity: OT Pediatrics (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
• Shift times:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Patient population: Primarily pediatric hospital outpatient with some adult inpatient coverage as needed
• Diagnoses: Wide variety, requiring skills in acute care, outpatient clinic, and pediatrics
• Electronic Health Record: EPIC experience preferred
• Residence requirement: Traveler’s primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility
• New graduates considered if certified OT with previous pediatric experience as a COTA

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Candidate must complete MN DHS Net Study Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask (N95) required with proof of fit test within 7 days of start
• Tdap vaccination required (no religious declination accepted)
• TB screening per Minnesota state guidelines (2-step PPD or equivalent)
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer required (time sensitive)
• Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination required
• Varicella vaccination or positive titer required
• Flu vaccine or declination required annually (mask required if declined)
• Drug testing: 9-panel within 1 year of start (instant acceptable)

Additional Requirements

• Two references from recent employers within 2 years required
