Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: None
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend and holidays
• Unit Systems: Omnicell, Meditech Expanse
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Scrubs: Any color

Required Qualifications

• License: Massachusetts state license required. Candidates with pending or conditional license accepted but must apply for temporary and permanent MA license upon offer.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics required.
• Prior Travel Experience: Prior travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA Provider, Instructor, or RQI acceptable)
  • ACLS (AHA Provider, Instructor, or RQI acceptable)
  • Other certifications (PALS, NRP, TNCC) as applicable or required.

Compliance & Background Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check (including all aliases, counties, national, sex offender, education verification) within 30 days of start; updated annually.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start.
• Education verification or official transcript accepted.
• Massachusetts Statewide iCORI clearance required within 30 days of start.

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test within 1 year (acceptable masks: 1870+, 1860, 1860S). Onsite fit testing available if needed.
• Adult TDAP vaccine within 10 years.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility guidelines. Annual TB questionnaire required.
• Immunity or vaccination for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or vaccination series)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
• Seasonal flu vaccination or documented declination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31).
• COVID-19 booster documentation or signed declination required.

Additional Facility Requirements

• Passport-style photo for badge.
• Completion and signing of various facility-specific agreements and policies (confidentiality, corporate compliance, personal appearance, communication device policy, standards of behavior, emergency contact form, vehicle registration).
• References collected per agency standard (not required by facility).
• Annual skills checklist required.

This position is ideal for experienced Respiratory Therapists with prior travel contract experience who are licensed or eligible for licensure in Massachusetts and meet the outlined health and compliance requirements.
