Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT Pediatrics) - Travel/Contract

Location: Akron, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric or adult experience to provide respiratory care. The role may require floating to other nearby facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Respiratory Therapist experience with both pediatric and adult patients
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred Qualifications

Level 3 and 4 NICU experience preferred
STABLE certification (can be completed onsite)
Experience in pediatric intensive care units (PICU), neonatal intensive care units (NICU), or similar settings

Additional Information

Must be willing to float to other facilities as needed
Required to complete facility-specific documents including HIPAA training, computer security agreement, and float policy acknowledgment
Annual updates required for certifications and competencies
