Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Teaneck, New Jersey Contract Length: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel/Contract Unit: Labor and Delivery

Schedule

• Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
• Every other weekend (EOW)
• Occasional on-call if census drops
• Patient ratio of 1:2

Role Details

• Will float to post-partum
• Will need to scrub, circulate, conduct conscious sedation, FHM, and triage
• Scrubs provided

Eligibility

• Does not accept travelers who live permanently in Westchester County, Rockland County, or New York City
• New Jersey travelers accepted
• First-time travelers accepted
• Minimum 3 years of experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey RN license
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association (instructor or provider)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Ability to scrub in surgical procedures
• Experience as an OB circulator
• Conscious sedation
