Job Opportunity: RN - GI

Job Summary

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care in the GI Lab according to unit policies and procedures.
• Direct coworkers in the implementation of the care plan.
• Collect, analyze, and organize patient care data.
• Apply technical skills and experience to assess patient status and needs.
• Perform diagnostic techniques/tests to ascertain patient’s ongoing condition.
• Implement a plan of care including traditional and complementary therapies.
• Direct, instruct, and observe patients and significant others in self-care and understanding of information.
• Incorporate physician’s instructions and ancillary caregiver observations into patient care.
• Provide ongoing evaluation of patient response and revise care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of patient status and care provided.
• Complete documentation, teaching, discharge planning, and outcome notes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Montana.
• Minimum of 1 year of GI Lab experience, with experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Endoscopy experience.

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks).
