Job Description

• Provide specific patient care duties and unit support activities in the operating room suite.
• Anticipate needs before and during surgical cases, assist with dressings and cast application post-procedure.
• Follow physician preference cards for case preparation.
• Maintain accountability for complete instrumental trays and perform surgical counts according to policy.
• Document and communicate important data, including surgical counts and any exceptions.
• Identify problems and take appropriate action independently to improve quality of care.
• May work additional or different shifts as requested.
• Responsible for one department task beyond routine duties.
• Participate in teaching and submit recommendations for process improvements or cost containment.

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks)

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Additional Notes

• Must comply with all regulatory requirements including licensing, certification, TB testing, safety, compliance, and HIPAA training within established time frames.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
