Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Role Summary

  • Independently provides patient care using the nursing process
  • Works with the inter-professional team to coordinate care across the continuum
  • May guide, assist, and direct unlicensed assistive personnel
  • Focuses on patient- and family-centered care, evidence-based practice, safety, quality improvement, teamwork, technology/informatics, professionalism, and leadership
