Overview

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP
Guaranteed hours: 32 hours per week

Schedule

Variable shifts and days
Earliest start times listed: 6:45 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM
On-call coverage includes weekdays, weekend call rotations, and 1–2 weeknight call shifts as needed
30-minute response time required for call
Call-only weekend rotation every 4th weekend
Holidays required as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate degree or certificate

Preferred Experience

High-quality radiologic exams
Interventional medical sonography exams
Cone beam CT exams with three-dimensional reconstruction
Complex interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases

Work Setting

Fast-paced IR unit
Average of 4–6 procedures per day
Team includes 1 RN and 2 rad techs
Floating to other locations in the central region may be required

Additional Notes

Any colored scrubs allowed
Epic experience is highly preferred
Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
Flu and COVID vaccination declination during flu season requires masking at all times
