Job info

Nursing Opportunity: Labor & Delivery RN

Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii
Facility: Kona Community Hospital
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Nights only
Work Hours: 72-80 hours every two weeks
Patient Volume: Approximately 45-50 deliveries per month

Job Requirements

  • Must have Labor and Delivery experience
  • Experience with Nursery RN and couplet care
  • Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring skills
  • Current Hawaii RN license required
  • May float to assist other departments (not as primary nurse)
  • Charge nurse duties may be assigned with additional compensation

Certifications Required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

This position is ideal for nurses experienced in labor and delivery looking to work in a rural community hospital setting in Hawaii.
