Job Opportunity: RN First Assistant - CVOR

Location: Columbia, Missouri

Job Description

Assist CVOR surgeons during surgical procedures as the RN First Assistant.
Responsibilities include controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing, and handling tissue.
Must be proficient in:
- CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
- MVR (Mitral Valve Replacement)
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Open and endoscopic leg vein harvest
- Endoluminal AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) and all thoracic procedures
- CEAs (Carotid Endarterectomies) and all vascular procedures

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience required.

Schedule

Shift: 06:45 AM to 5:15 PM
4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)
On-call: 10 days per month

Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required

This position is ideal for experienced RN First Assistants with strong cardiovascular and vascular surgical skills looking for a contract role in Missouri.
