Job Opportunity: LPN - Long Term Care (Contract)

Location: Hilo, Hawaii

Job Description

  • Position requires an LPN with experience in Long Term Care (LTC) settings.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Performing assessments and treatments
    • Medication administration
    • Notifying MD/NP of pertinent information
    • Admitting and discharging patients
    • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
    • Gastrostomy tube care
    • Urinary catheter care
    • Nebulized treatments
    • Wound VAC care
    • CPAP care
    • Other assigned duties as needed

Shifts

  • Varied shifts available based on census and facility needs.

Requirements

  • Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start.
  • Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.
  • BLS/BCLS certification required.
