Sonographer (Echo Tech) - Travel Contract

Location

Stockton, California

Contract Length

13 weeks

Job Description

Perform adult cardiac echocardiography studies across all hospital areas.
Approximately 8-10 scans per day.
Work 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
Every other weekend required as needed.
No holiday or regular call/standby requirements unless pediatric echo experience is present; then on-call with 30-minute response time.
Use Philips iE33 ultrasound machines and Epic software.
Department has 7 echo machines.
No IV starts required.
Dress code: teal scrubs or hospital-provided surgical blues.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 full years of Echo Tech experience.
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification via CCI.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Completion of all required pre-arrival training modules.

Additional Information

Department uses MERGE and Cerner for EMR/PACS.
Supervised by a manager and lead tech.
No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) in the department.
Radiologist available in-house.
