Dietitian - Inpatient Registered

Location: Soldotna, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (Sunday - Thursday)
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Job Summary

Plan, coordinate, and participate in the nutritional care process for inpatients.
Ensure quality nutritional care is provided.
Collaborate with food service staff, nursing, and medical staff to understand patient needs and follow diet-related physician orders.
Provide coverage for outpatient dietitian as needed.
Participate in quality improvement programs related to clinical services.
Assist with Joint Commission processes, including reviewing standards and scoring guidelines annually with Food Services Manager.

Required Qualifications

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential via Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Bachelor's degree.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
