Schedule

• Days
• 36 hours per week
• 10-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage includes Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Call required
• Holidays required as needed and scheduled

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License
• ARRT in CT and Radiography
• AHA BLS
• Level 1 trauma center experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience
• GE equipment experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality CT exams across a wide range of procedures, including neuro, body, MSK, CTAs, IR procedures, trauma scans, and 3D reformatting
• Perform QA and help maintain department stocking and compliance standards
• Work effectively with patients, physicians, families, students, and other healthcare personnel
• Use computer systems and email applications, communicate effectively, multitask, and escalate difficult customer interactions appropriately

Work Setting

• Floating to other locations within the CT department under the same manager
• 8 CT scanners across campuses

Training

• 6-week orientation with an assigned preceptor
• Mid-point check at 3 weeks

• Red scrubs required
• Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
