Respiratory Therapist - Utah (Lehi)

Job Details

• Location: Lehi, Utah (approximately 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days (12-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Schedule: May include flexible hours before/after standard shifts, overtime, and on-call coverage (including ability to provide on-call coverage outside scheduled hours per department/facility policy)
• Orientation: Clinicians must be in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote)

Job Description

• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate/revise therapy plans as needed
• Conduct diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy assistance, and pulse oximetry
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities
• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department with potential for flexible scheduling and overtime

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (e.g., CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Valid driver’s license required (for radius travel up to 60 miles)
