LPN/LVN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Location: Williston, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work in a primary care clinic setting with up to 19 providers and 20 provider pods.
- Patient volume: up to 25 patients/day in primary care, up to 50/day in walk-in.
- Patient population ranges from newborns to geriatrics.
- Common procedures include skin biopsy, circumcision, wart removal, occasional stitches, and splinting.
- No clinical involvement beyond minor procedures and patient care support.
- Use AEHR and Meditech EMR systems.
- Job duties include rooming patients, assisting with minor procedures, performing EKGs (training provided), administering vaccines, cleaning and stocking rooms, patient phone calls, and working closely with providers.
- Floating to different primary care departments such as Pediatrics, Family Medicine, OB, walk-in, and Internal Medicine.
- Orientation: 1 week of unit/department-specific training.
- Dress code: Black scrub pants and light blue top.
- Shift: Day shifts, varied 8- or 10-hour shifts (typically 7:00 AM–6:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM).
- No weekend or holiday requirements.
- Parking available on site.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN/LVN license in North Dakota.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinic experience, including experience within the last year.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Additional Information
- Manager/Supervisor present on each shift (RN Lead).
- Work alongside CNAs and CMAs.
- Attributes for success: teamwork, time management, ambition, self-starter, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates must comply with a 50-mile radius rule and cannot have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with certain affiliated facilities within the past year.
- Return to Office (RTO) required upfront; no additional RTO approvals after submission.
