Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

A hospital in Eastern Nebraska is seeking a CT Technologist / X-Ray Tech. The position requires working with GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners. The department includes multiple imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Mammography.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform varied imaging studies primarily in CT and X-ray.
Float and cover other areas including CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department.
Use EMR system EPIC and PACS system McKesson.
Participate in rotational call (1 every 4 weekends and weekday call).
Work 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) plus call.
Complete 1-2 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation.

Required Qualifications

Certified CT Technologist (ARRT-CT)
BLS Certification
Valid Driver’s License (used to verify candidate location within 50-mile radius)
Experience with GE CT scanners and EPIC EMR system preferred
Must comply with fingernail policy: artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
Flexibility, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and work are essential

Additional Information

Call required with varied response times.
Holiday and weekend work required.
Radius rule: candidates must live within 50 miles and cannot be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and Dignity).
Radiation badge provided by client.
Rapid turnaround time required for onboarding (7 days or less for this 13-week contract).
